Confession and Forgiveness

L: In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
C: Amen
L: If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
C: But if we confess our sins, God who is faithful and just, will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
L: Let us confess our sins to God our Father.
C: Most merciful God, we confess that we are captive to sin and cannot free ourselves. We have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves.  For the sake of your Son, Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.  Forgive us, renew us, and lead us, so that we may delight in your will and walk in your ways, to the glory of your holy name. Amen
L:  God who is rich in mercy, loved us even when we were dead in sin, and made us alive together with Christ. By grace you have been saved.  In the name of Jesus Christ, your sins are forgiven. Almighty God strengthen you with power through the Holy Spirit, that Christ may live in your hearts through faith.
C: Amen

With all the people of God, we pray for the church, those in need, and all of God’s creation.

+  Dear Creator, please grant us patience in action during this growing season, that we may be reminded, nurtured and inspired by the truth of your Word. Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

+  For all those who continue to work around the clock for answers, treatment, and effective solutions for Covid-19 in our communities and around the globe, that the wisdom, experience, and motivation of scientists and medical workers be appreciated and utilized for the well-being of all.  Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

+  People are weary, Lord, and we hear the voices of those who are ill, grieving, lonely, hungry, scared or suffering.  Grand them peace for their spirit, support from those who love them, and the assurance of Jesus’ presence.  Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

+ Add your own prayers here....

Loving God, we give all these prayers to you, trusting in your mercy and grace. AMEN

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen

As people of faith we are called to continue strengthening the ministry of the church, even when we are physically distant. We invite you to prayerfully consider a gift to our congregation as we work together to help people know and love Jesus.  You can mail an offering to the church, click on the Give Now button below or Text to Give by texting your dollar amount to 715-227-8147. Thank you for your generosity.

L: May the God of peace, who raised from the dead our Lord Jesus, provide us with every good thing we need in order to do his will; and the blessing of almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, be with us now and forever. Amen.
